Woman who was angry with the gods

A Persian folk tale in which a woman helps the gods arrange life as she wishes it to be.

I first heard a version of this tale told by Katharina Ritter.
Subsequent research turned it up as a joke heard decades ago on a school playground in Canada, and this cartoon version.
Which just goes to show how the old stories stay with us in multiple versions.
