The Terrified Suitors

A Danish folk tale of how a young widow managed unwanted attentions.

Stephen Badman kindly sent me his translation of this hilarious tale, collected in the 19th century by Evald Tang Kristensen.
Stephen thought it was one I'd enjoy telling: he was certainly right!

The recording was made at a school performance in March 2017 in Erlangen.
